According to the new information published on the IMDB film portal, British actress Kristin Scott Thomas (Ana Miller in the movie) will be back in the sequel to the franchise movie.
On the other hand, and according to the information appeared and confirmed by various media, Alicia Vikander would repeat her leading role as Lara Croft, the new film will be directed by Ben Wheatley and the script is in charge of Amy Jump.
The rest of the actors that will compose the cast of the film will be confirmed from the next months. The studio setting a release date of March 19, 2021.
Directed by Roar Uthaug, last year’s first film grossed $275 million worldwide. Production on the sequel will begin early next year.
