Lara Croft will embark on a new Mayan adventure in the movie Tomb Raider Obsidian. New details.

The Geek Vibes Nation information portal has just revealed succulent information about the sequel to the film starring Alicia Vikander, "Tomb Raider Obsidian".

The most important thing is that we finally have a brief summary of the film's plot:

Lara Croft travels to Central America to enter an adventure related to the Mayans and because of this, Ana Miller, who currently controls Trinity, orders her murder.

Everything seems to indicate that the film will have strong influences from "Shadow of the Tomb Raider" but also combined with certain elements of the game "Rise of the Tomb Raider". In addition, Warner already asked months ago that the film had a supernatural component and it is expected that this will be reflected in the new script by Misha Green.

For its part, the casting for the search for actors who give life to the characters of the plot now focuses on finding the following profiles.

Kita = A girl of Mayan origins and Hispanic appearance with an age between 10-14 years.

Andi = Friend of Lara Croft, she is an African American woman with an age between 20-30 years.

Rourke = An international assassin between the ages of 30-40.
