Misha Green just handed her script for the Tomb Raider sequel to Warner Bros.

According to new information leaked by a Warner Bros insider for Geek Vibes Nation, Misha Green just handed Warner Bros her first script for the Tomb Raider sequel. Warner Bros, for its part, has been very happy with the result of the new script after dispensing with the previous screenwriter and director (Amy Jump and Ben Wheatley respectively). Misha Green has not only written the script for the film but will also direct the movie.

Tomb Raider will be produced by Graham King via his GK Films banner, and Elizabeth Cantillon via The Cantillon Company.

The film will continue to star Alicia Vikander as Lara Croft and will be produced and distributed by Warner Bros and United Artist.

It is expected to have new news about the film production throughout this year in addition to a new filming date if the pandemic allows it.
