New footage from the Greece gameplay section of Tomb Raider: Legacy of Atlantis has started circulating online, taken from the demo shown behind closed doors during Gamescom 2026.
The footage gives us an extensive look at the spectacular reimagining of St. Francis’ Folly, including the iconic Damocles room, which has been completely redesigned and expanded compared to the original 1996 game.
However, the gameplay is not the only topic generating discussion. The lack of European Spanish and Italian voice acting continues to draw criticism and debate among both the press and fans. At the moment, the game will only feature text localization in both languages, while Latin American Spanish will receive full voice acting.
Despite repeated requests from parts of the community, the situation remains unchanged and has become one of the most controversial topics surrounding the game. If the debate continues to grow, it could end up overshadowing part of the conversation around one of Lara Croft’s most anticipated upcoming adventures. 🏹
What do you think? Should Crystal Dynamics and Amazon Games reconsider the voice acting options before release?
