Hasbro Announces Tomb Raider Collaboration and Unveils New Articulated Action Figure

Hasbro is preparing to bring Lara Croft into the world of G.I. Joe, teasing a new crossover action figure as part of the upcoming Tomb Raider 30 celebration.

The company revealed that fans will get their first official look at Lara “Tomb Raider” Croft x G.I. Joe in June 2026, positioning the release as one of the headline collectibles tied to three decades of Tomb Raider history. The teaser frames the collaboration as a meeting of two legacy brands: Lara Croft’s tomb-raiding mythos and G.I. Joe’s long-running action-hero universe.

The announcement comes as Crystal Dynamics expands the Tomb Raider 30 campaign, a year-long celebration marking 30 years of Lara Croft and the franchise. The initiative includes collaborations across gaming, fashion, collectibles, publishing, fine art, apparel, comics, trading cards, memorabilia, and retro-inspired products.

While Hasbro has not yet shown the full figure, the teaser strongly suggests a premium crossover release designed for both Tomb Raider collectors and G.I. Joe fans. For a character like Lara Croft, already one of gaming’s most recognizable action icons, the move feels like a natural fit. She has the tactical gear, the globe-trotting danger, the artifact-hunting lore, and the larger-than-life hero status to slide straight into the G.I. Joe universe without missing a beat.

The full reveal is scheduled for June 2026, when Hasbro is expected to show the figure officially and provide more details on design, availability, and release timing. Until then, the tease has done its job: Lara Croft’s 30th anniversary just got a lot more collectible.
