Tomb Raider Legacy of Atlantis Won’t Require a NASA-Level PC
Good news for Lara Croft fans: Tomb Raider: Legacy of Atlantis has revealed its PC requirements, and while it is not exactly a super-light game, it also does not look like it will leave most players behind.
The new remake in the saga is set to arrive in 2027 and, after its appearance at State of Play, it has been sharing key details little by little: editions, release date, voice acting, and now the PC specs needed to play it. The big surprise is that the requirements are fairly reasonable for a modern release.
To run the game on PC, players will need at least Windows 10 or 11 64-bit, a processor such as the Intel Core i5-8600 or AMD Ryzen 5 3600, 16 GB of RAM, a graphics card like the GTX 1070, RTX 2060 Super, or Radeon RX 5700, and 80 GB of free storage.
For the recommended setup, things go up a bit: Intel Core i7-9700K or Ryzen 5 5600X, the same 16 GB of RAM, and a graphics card such as the RTX 3080 or Radeon RX 6800 XT, also with 80 GB of storage.
For many users, the most demanding part will probably be the RAM. Plenty of people still play on PCs with 8 GB, so that may be the one upgrade some players need to make. But other than that, these are not impossible requirements, nor does the game seem designed to melt your entire setup.
That said, some key details are still missing: exact performance, target resolution, and how many FPS each configuration will deliver. For now, what we do know is that Tomb Raider: Legacy of Atlantis is scheduled to launch on February 12, 2027, for PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X|S.
In simple terms: Lara Croft is coming back with adventure, nostalgia, and without asking you to sell half your gaming setup just to play it.
