The movie Tomb Raider 2 enters the pre-production phase approaching the start of filming.

Although we had not heard new news for several months about the sequel to the 2018 movie “Tomb Raider” starring Alicia Vikander, today updates on the project are coming from the information portal Geek Vibes Nation and Imdb.

The sequel to Tomb Raider would still be very much alive and approaching the pre-production phase to begin filming shortly, the Imdb portal has been listing new members of the crew these days, so new hires are being made in this regard. In addition, it has been announced that screenwriter Drew Pearce (Iron Man 3, Godzilla (2014), Fast & Furious Presents: Hobbs & Shaw...etc) has joined as a screenwriter along with Misha Green to put the finishing touches on the script.

The actress Alicia Vikander has made recent statements in the media saying that she is impatient to embody Lara Croft again and that she has held some meetings with stunt doubles to devise various action sequences for the film.

Hopefully the start of filming will be announced soon as will the rest of the cast members.
